KINGSBRIDGE Private Hospital in Belfast, part of the 3fivetwo Group, offers a five-star experience via a wide range of high quality services - from consultations and scans, to tests and surgery - to each patient crossing its doors.

The hospital on Belfast’s Lisburn Road accommodates 22 beds in a state-of-art facility, offering the highest levels of technological advancement in private healthcare.

Last year a £3 million investment furnished a state-of-the art MRI scanner, upgraded theatres, CT scan facilities and modern outpatients department.

The only private GP and casualty service in Northern Ireland now sees 7,000 new patient consults per year, rapidly becoming the first option, not the last resort, for those wishing to avoid a lengthy wait in the public system.

The hospital is also very proud to have a unique healthcare partnership with the GAA in Ulster, providing a range of health services via a GAA Health Hub for its 250,000 members across the province.

Behind the Kingsbridge brand lies an ethos of excellence in all areas, facilitating the highest standards of medical care in a relaxing, comfortable environment and so aiding a faster, more successful recovery for patients.

"It’s about giving patients a story to take away with them," said Mark Regan, chief executive of Kingsbridge and development director of its parent company, the 3fivetwo Group.

"Sometimes, that could be something very small but positive that they don’t expect. Our aim is to provide an environment that places our patients at ease in comfort and hence the facilities are more akin to a five-star hotel than a hospital."

Many first-time visitors are pleasantly surprised at the ‘hospitality’ they receive at Kingsbridge, but Mark believes the little things are every bit as important as the larger picture.

“Ordinarily, a patient rarely progresses on a healthcare journey with a single point of contact," he added.

"The vast majority of our patients go through a GP, see a consultant, get a diagnostic service, undergo surgery, have a review, and come back again through rehab.

"While we have many specialities on offer, our high end surgery centre in particular is seeing many patients opting to have their knee or hip procedures at Kingsbridge, some availing of these services through savings or via our new payment plan offering.

"Others access treatment via their own health insurance providers such as Bupa, H3, Benenden and so on.

“It is so important to us that our patients are supported back on the road to recovery. In addition to the world class nursing staff, we offer the highest quality nutritious meals, all locally sourced by our own in-house chef or from Deanes Restaurants who supply our evening meals."

Expanding to the Republic of Ireland was a natural progression for the 3fivetwo group. The acquisition in 2015 of St Joseph’s Hospital, Sligo - rebranded as Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo - was another defining ‘first’ in the group’s evolution, making it the only major hospital group with a truly Pan-Ireland presence.

It is all part of the vision to make the 3fivetwo Group and its headquarters in Northern Ireland a centre of excellence as a world-class provider of healthcare solutions.
