Derry self-storage firm Store & Go in lockdown expansion

DERRY-based self-storage facility Store & Go has expanded over the lockdown period to a total of 161 units.

Located at Springtown in the city, the company now boasts unit sizes from 10 sq ft right up to 200 sq ft.

“We're delighted to have expanded, in turn increasing our range of unit sizes to meet the demands of the local clientele,” manager Grainne O’Doherty said.

“During these difficult times, we’ve seen an array of new customers avail of our smart self-storage facility.

“Many businesses have adjusted and adapted during the lockdown, which has led to increased demand for professional self-storage. The expansion is testament to this and we're delighted with the current feedback we’ve received.”

She added: "During lockdown many families had time to reflect, which seen a spike in home improvements and also the need for self-storage. Having a safe space away from their home allowed families to declutter and open up space for other things.”

Unlike other self-storage facilities, Store & Go (www.storeandgo.net) operates an easy to use app allowing customers to control the gates and doors with this smart keyless feature.
