There are 22 new, known cases of Covid-19 in Northern Ireland, bringing the total number of known cases to 108.
To date, one person who tested positive for coronavirus in Northern Ireland has died.
The total number of tests completed is 2,186. Testing is to be stepped up with health minister Robin Swann saying earlier this week that some 800 tests would be carried out daily as the NHS prepares for a surge in cases.
It had been the case that testing was restricted to hospital patients and those with particular medical conditions.
Anyone displaying symptoms such as a new, persistent and/or a fever are being asked to self-isolate for seven days and are not being offered a test.
As of last night there were a further 126 cases of Covid-19 confirmed in the Republic of Ireland, bringing the total number of cases to 683.
From the Public Health Agency: This is the week that the most people who are infected without knowing it will cause the virus to spread. What you do today will affect the ICU beds in the hospitals in the next two to three weeks
