- IF YOU still even remember your new year’s resolution and it was something to do with fitness, the latest weekly offers (starting February 6) from Lidl will ring a (kettle) bell.

Kettle bells are available in 6kg (£6.99), 10kg (£9.99) and 14kg (£14.99). Other highlights include the forearm trainer (£3.99), push-up bars (£3.99) and the expander (£3.99). A 10.3kg dumbbell set (£12.99) allows you to choose your own combination of weights and vary exercises for specific muscle groups.

If you’ve got the idea but not the gear, ladies’ and men’s performance tops are £3.99, while cropped trousers are £5.99 and cushioned trainers are just £9.99. Possibly the most useful part of your workout kit will be these tangle-resistant earphones (£3.99).

The 18kg sandbag trainer (£16.99) is a multipurpose tool for training strength, balance and endurance. Use to swing, throw or hit, or as an added weight for squats or jumps. Included are four bags, each fillable with up to 4.5kg with a maximum training weight of 18kg. See the full range at www.lidl-ni.co.uk.

- Until 11.59pm on February 7 you can save money on large kitchen appliances from www.ao.com using two discount codes arranged by consumer website www.moneysavingexpert.com. There's £20 off when you spend £199 or more, or £50 off a £399-plus spend. Get the codes by following the link from the MSE homepage or use the quick link http://tinyurl.com/juzx32f. They’re valid on all white goods.

- BT home broadband customers can get a year's mobile phone usage for £96 and a free £35 Amazon or iTunes voucher to boot. BT’s Sim-only £8-per-month tariff offers 3GB of 4G data, 500 minutes and unlimited texts. Find it by going to www.productsandservices.bt.com/mobile/sim-only-deals and clicking on ‘got BT broadband at home?’ - otherwise it costs £13 per month. The offer is available until 11.59pm on February 9. You must claim the freebie within three months.
