A security alert has ended in Comber, Co Down, with nothing untoward found, police have said.
The alert on Newtownards Road prompted evacuations of homes and a health centre.
The PSNI said residents have been allowed back into their homes.
“A security alert in the Newtownards Road area of Comber has ended.
“The suspicious object has been declared to be nothing untoward.
“A number of cordons which were in place have been lifted and all residents have returned to their homes.”

The local health centre, library and homes in the Newtown Green area were evacuated during today’s operation.
Authorities advised residents to avoid the area while the alert was ongoing.
The latest incident came after a viable pipe bomb device was recovered by officers on Sunday night near Dungiven.
