SINN Féin has co-opted Emma Sheerin to replace Ian Milne as one of its three Mid Ulster MLAs.
Mr Milne is vacating his assembly seat to seek election in next year''s local government elections.
Sinn Féin deputy leader Michelle O'Neill, also an MLA for Mid Ulster, last night tweeted that Ms Sheerin (26) would be a "first class representative for the people of Mid Ulster".
