Domhnall Nugent, Annette Kelly, Michael Conlan and performance coach Tony O’Neill will appear at the Féile Good event in west Belfast next month.

GAA stars are among a panel to take part in an upcoming Féile event to promote mental wellbeing.

Antrim hurler Neil McManus will join former Tyrone footballer-turned coach Mark Harte for the Féile Good event in west Belfast's Devenish Complex on August 3.

The pair will also be joined by boxer Michael Conlon and others for the panel discussion, which is being held as part of this year's Féile an Phobail.

The event is organised by wellness brand, Little Penny Thoughts - founded by Annette Kelly - and the website and podcast Let’s Face It, and aims to "explore confidence, resilience and mindset and encourage people to consider their own personal wellbeing and mental health".

Lets Face It was founded by Antrim hurler Domhnall Nugent after he spent three months in a rehab centre in 2019 over an addiction to alcohol and cocaine.

Ms Kelly is also a guest editor of The Irish News Young News Readers project.

“Annette and I are both passionate mental health advocates and we are inviting people to join us to relax, refresh, renew and simply take time for themselves," Domhnall said.

"It is our hope that those attending will leave feeling uplifted and inspired and ready to face the challenges of today’s busy world.”
