Isabella Connor is the best tennis player in Ireland, in the under 12 girls category.
The 11-year old student, who attends Friends' School Lisburn, competed in six tournaments last year at under 12 level in Ulster & Ireland, winning five. She is now ranked number one in both Ulster and Ireland.
Ms Connor has a gruelling schedule. She been part of the Irish National Futures Tennis Squad since 2016, training twice a week in Dublin.
She trains once a week with the Ulster Tennis Performance Squad in Lisburn and once a week with her private coach, Louise Bothwell, at Downshire Tennis Club, Hillsborough.
She aspires to win a tennis scholarship to attend an American College after A-levels.
