THOSE of you who have gone gaga for the music of Andrew Hozier-Byrne AKA Hozier will no doubt be thrilled to learn that the Co Wicklow singer-songwriter has just been announced as a headline act at Belsonic.
Mr Take Me To Church will be performing his still inescapable 2013 hit plus other numbers from his eponymous debut LP, which hit the top of the Irish charts in September last year, in Belfast on Monday August 24.
Whether an artist with just one record and a single hit to their name actually has enough material to pull off a festival headlining slot remains to be seen, but at least those who love this 'local lad done good''s album are pretty much guaranteed to hear their favourite song.
Support will come from Dublin indie folksters Little Green Cars and Hozier's fellow Braysters, all girl vocal trio Wyvern Lingo.
