WYVERN Lingo, Paddy Casey, Ports and Hannah McPhillimy are among the acts playing the Atlantic Sessions music festival on the north coast next month.
The festival runs in Portrush, Portstewart and Portballintrae between November 12 and 15, and includes screenings of Oscar-winning film Whiplash and the Amy Winehouse documentary Amy.
There will be more than 40 gigs over the four days. Wicklow three-piece Wyvern Lingo have spent a lot of time in the past two years opening for Hozier but they’re making a name for themselves as a headline act; Ports (formerly Little Bear) have recently toured to promote their new single Gameplay; Hannah McPhillimmy will launch her new EP at the festival; and Dublin singer Paddy Casey plays the final night.
Other acts playing are The Vals, Jessica Doherty, Rosborough, Scorpion Jack, Son of the Hound, Kaz Hawkins, Mandy Bingham, Amanda St John and Edelle McMahon.
