DERRY'S finest will be returning to Belfast and Dublin later in the year. Having celebrated their 40th anniversary last year with a triumphant tour, vinyl reissues of their first two LPs and a Kevin Shields remix of live favourite Get Over You, the Paul McLoone-led group are keen not to let the grass grow under their boots in 2017.
"To be honest, we had such a great time on the last tour that we thought we'd try our luck again," says bassist Mickey Bradley of their upcoming run of new dates, which also include appearances at Rewind Scotland and The Isle of Wight Festival.
"And I promise to use new bass strings to celebrate," he adds.
Don't believe him.
