BEN Wheatley's new movie Free Fire stars Irish talents Cillian Murphy and Wheatley regular Michael Smiley in a 1970s-set seige thriller about an arms deal which goes explosively wrong.
Justine (Brie Larson) has brokered a meeting in a deserted Boston warehouse between Chris (Murphy) and Frank (Smiley) and a gun-dealing gang led by Vernon (Sharlto Copley) and Ord (Armie Hammer).
However, when personal grudges unexpectedly lead to an exchange of shots during the handover, events quickly spiral out of control into a bloody, lead-peppered battle for survival.
Following the success of Wheatley's well received Q&A tour of indie cinemas with his previous flick, High-Rise, the director and co-writer will be returning to QFT Belfast on Tuesday March 21 to address audience queries and concerns about Free Fire after a special advance screening at QFT.
Those brave enough to raise their hands will be rewarded with the respect of their peers and some exclusive Free Fire-branded swag to remember the occasion by.
