GLASGOW-based indie rock duo Honeyblood make their Irish live debut next month.
Stina (guitar/vocals) and Cat (drums/vocals) will be treating us right by laying on a four date mini-tour of Ireland as part of their biggest headlining jaunt to date.
The band, who released their excellent second LP Babes Never Die on the Fat Cat label late last year, will commence their Irish assault at Galway's Roisin Dubh on April 6, followed by stops at Cyprus Avenue in Cork (April 7), Whelan's in Dublin (April 8) and The Empire in Belfast (April 9).
For a taste of what you can expect from the noisy yet melodic band on their upcoming tour, look no further than the video for the current Honeyblood single.
The promo clip for the album's title track features a ton of fan-filmed footage taken during gigs in the US and UK last year, plus candid backstage and on-the-road stuff captured by the band themselves.
"This video has such a special significance to us," comments Stina.
"Most of the travel and backstage footage was filmed by Cat and I on our phones. However, we could not have made it without great folk getting involved and filming at the shows!"
We'll be getting Honeyblood fresh from their first excursion 'down under' for dates in Singapore and Australia, which begin next week, and on their way to their largest London gig to date at Koko on June 16.
