HE TOLD us we'd be sick of him by the end of the year, and now Neil Hannon looks set to make good on this threat with a string of Divine Comedy Irish dates this December.
Still riding high on the acclaim for his recent Top 10 album Foreverland, Hannon and his band will play Cork Opera House (Monday December 4), University Concert Hall in Limerick (December 5), Derry's Millennium Forum (December 6), The Ulster Hall in Belfast (December 7) and Dublin's Olympia Theatre (December 8).
And, for those fans who fear they won't survive a six-month wait for their next Divine Comedy fix, remember that the group are also confirmed for the Electric Picnic festival in Co Laois this September – all you have to do is find someone who can no longer go to this long sold-out event and persuade them to part with their ticket.
Tickets for all the December gigs are on sale now via Ticketmaster.ie and individual venues.
