DO YOU like guitars? Do you enjoy Irish whiskey? Then the latest event in Bushmills' Answer The Call series, Whiskey and Strings, is for you.

The Co Antrim whiskey makers will be bringing two local 'guitar heroes' together for a special evening of music and chat at The Sunflower in Belfast next week.

Lowden Guitars man George Lowden has made instruments for international stars including Eric Clapton and Ed Sheeran, while guitar tutor and Belfast Guitar Festival founder Paul McMordie is the man who taught Snow Patrol's Nathan Connolly and Paul Mahon from The Answer how to play.

The event is limited to 50 tickets and will offer attendees the opportunity to hear all about George and Paul's passion for guitars and get some tips on how to get the best out of their own instruments as well as enjoying specially-created Black Bush 'serves' and live sets from surprise musical guests.

Sounds good? Well, if you want to be part of the audience for Whiskey and Strings, you'd best register right now at Answerthecall.co.uk, where those 50 precious tickets will be allocated via ballot.
