IRELAND’S biggest street art festival Hit The North returns to Belfast on September 21 and 22 for a fifth year of spray paint-fuelled colour and creativity.
Top street artists from around the world including Manchester duo Nomad Clan, AKA Cbloxx and Aylo, will be descending on the city centre's North Street to help give one of Belfast's last independent business-dominated streets a facelift.
Hit The North organiser Adam Turkington of Seedhead Arts also had a seven-year stint as the manager of Culture Night Belfast, but recently stepped down from the latter position in order to devote himself full time to the street art festival.
"Hit The North is now the biggest Street Art Festival in Ireland and now that I can give it my full attention it can only go from strength to strength," he enthuses.
"I can't overstate what a great line-up we have this year. It is such a coup to get Nomad Clan over to Hit The North. These guys have transformed the way street art is viewed, and their work is just staggering.
"We've also got Dan Kitchener and Irony returning, whose previous Belfast visits have produced murals that have become iconic Belfast landmarks."
