MUSIC conference and live showcase event Output Belfast returns for another one day event on February 21. Over 70 music industry speakers from these islands and further afield will present seminars, panels, workshops and Q&As related to the music industry during free conference events at The MAC and Oh Yeah from 10am to 5pm.
The conference will close with Q&A session The Boat That Rocked: Public Service Broadcasting and the White Star Liner EP, featuring PSB frontman J Wilgoose Esq discussing his acclaimed band's recent Titanic-themed release with Hot Press commissioning editor Roisin O’Dwyer.
Other Output conference highlights will include a discussion on the music used in hit Irish TV shows Derry Girls and Young Offenders, award-winning author Eamonn Forde reading from his book on the final days of EMI and BBC Young Folk Musician award-winner Jarlath Henderson discussing the future of folk/roots music.
Output's evening live showcase events will feature live performances from up and coming local talent at various city centre venues.
