IRISH electronic music festival Celtronic celebrates its 19th anniversary this week with five days and nights of music events, workshops, recording projects and much more across the city of Derry.

From today until Sunday June 30, Derry venues including The Guildhall, St Columbs Hall, The Nerve Centre, Echo Echo Dance and Culturlann Ui Chanain will host DJs, producers and live performers from Japan, Sweden, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany and Britain alongside artists from across Ireland.

Tonight's opening night concert at Echo Echo Dance will see the Ulster Orchestra perform new music created at Celtronic Studios by Phil Kieran and eight young musicians.

Other headliners include KiNK, DJ Nobu, Mano Le Tough, Move D, Axel Boman, Dr Rubinstein, Courtesy, Krystal Klear, Or:la, New Jackson, The Cyclist, Ryan Vail and Elma Orkestra.

The diversity of Ireland's electronic music scene is showcased via the Celtronic Emerge programme with live performances from acts from the likes of Paddy Mulcahy, Hylo, Porphyry, The Fully Automatic Model, mcconville and Optmst. The city’s leading club nights will also showcase at the festival including Bekuz x Influx, Acid Flex, Deep Fried Funk, Queen & Disco and Osilate.
