IT'S 25 years since a seven-minute performance changed the face of Irish dancing forever as the Eurovision interval act thrust Riverdance upon the world.

Since then Riverdance has been performed more than 12,160 times and seen live by over 27.5 million people in 546 venues worldwide.

In February the Riverdance – 25th Anniversary show will visit The SSE Arena in Belfast for a limited run with a completely reimagined show, complete with what's promised to be spectacular lighting, projection, stage and costume designs.

The cast will feature, for the first time, many dancers and musicians who were not even born in the year that the show first opened, and include lead dancers Jason O’Neill, from Belfast, and Amy-Mae Dolan from Tyrone.
