IRISH Youth Musical Theatre (IYMT) is Ireland's new national musical theatre training company for talented young artists aged 14 to 24 years across the Republic and the north.
Rolling out in January 2020, IYMT aims to find, nourish and showcase exceptional Irish talent in musical theatre and provide young Irish actors with the opportunity to experience the professional musical theatre industry here, in our own country.
The new initiative will run in partnership with The Royal Irish Academy of Music under the artistic direction of Séimí Campbell and the patronage of Colm Wilkinson. Other faces of IYMT include Irish West End/ Broadway actors Killian Donnelly, Fra Fee, David Shannon and Rachel Tucker.
