Europe’s biggest Halloween festival is back with another year of fearsome fun for all the family. Over four nights, the city of Derry will dazzle with all things spooky. With a packed programme of events including ghostly gigs, spooky spectacles, and a firework finale, there’s something for everyone this Halloween.

The Jungle’s Halloween Fright Night, Moneymore, October 26 & 27

Originally an outdoor activity centre, The Jungle NI is now armed with special effects, embedded sound, and enhanced lighting throughout to create an immersive Fright Night. Scattered around the massive site there is a total of six scare attractions and a brand-new Woodland Trial, more than enough to terrify even the toughest of fear fanatics.

Funderland, Titanic Quarter, October 27 – November 12

The popular seasonal fun park returns to Belfast this weekend for three weeks of rapid rollercoasters, haunted houses and wicked water rides.

Belfast One Pumpkin Patch, City Hall Belfast, October 28 & 29

Choose from hundreds of pumpkins in a specially arranged pumpkin patch at the front of Belfast City Hall. Then bring it along to the Halloween Activity Centre at 2 Royal Avenue and take part in pumpkin painting, watch live cooking demonstrations and try some pumpkin flavoured bites.

AR digital sculpture trail, Royal Hillsborough, open from October 25

This digital trail showcases 10 sculptures which will be linked by a digital app to bring together augmented reality stories from internationally acclaimed artists as well as information on the area. Aiming to educate and entertain people of all ages.

Based on the video game, Five Nights at Freddy’s has now been turned into a Halloween- season feature film. A troubled security guard begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the late shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.

The second season of the critically acclaimed series Time is set to hit our TV screens this Sunday. Separate from the first season, which starred Sean Bean and Stephen Graham, this time round Bella Ramsey, Jodie Whittaker and Tamara Lawrance will take the lead roles as the newest inmates at Carlingford Prison.

The Belfast Giants promise a spooky showdown against the Dundee Stars on Sunday for their annual Halloween Game Night. Fans are encouraged to attend the game in fancy dress and have the opportunity to win some wicked prizes such as your very own specially commissioned Belfast Giants Halloween jersey.
