THE Audio Visual Arts (AVA) Festival is set to return to Belfast on Saturday June 14 following its successful debut last year.
This one-day event for emerging and established electronic DJs, producers and audio-visual artists in Ireland will return to T13 in Titanic Quarter.
AVA incorporates a music conference, live broadcast and live showcase. The free daytime conference is open to all ages (registration required at Avafestival.com) and aims to bring together top names in tech and industry to share knowledge and experience via Ableton workshops, music production panels and lectures.
The Boiler Room live broadcast returns for 2016's event, which will also feature performances by Berlin technohead Rodhad (making his NI debut at AVA) alongside homegrown talents Bicep and Mano Le Tough.
Other acts confirmed across AVA's three stages include Gerd Janson, Optimo, Phil Kieran, Sunil Sharpe, Psycatron, T-Bone B2B JMX, Jordan, Brame & Hamo, Terriers, Hammer, Swoose & Cromby, JC Williams, Misfit, OR:LA, Jika Jika, Twitch DJs, Belfast Music Club and Guerilla Shout.
"We are really excited to announce the return of our festival, Boiler Room broadcast, conference and our 2016 line-up," enthuses AVA founder Sarah McBriar.
"We have added a third stage, brought on board some special guests from Berlin and worked hard to expand our programming, with more to be announced. We hope you can join us."
