TICKETS are now on sale for this year's edition of popular Co Down-based independent music event Sunflowerfest.
Following in the footsteps of 2015's superb headliners Senser, Co Cavan rock 'n' rollers The Strypes will be bringing their suited, booted and gloriously retro r'n'b racket to the main stage at this family-friendly three-day festival at a charmingly rural location in Hillsborough just outside Lisburn.
The other acts announced so far include make-up-spattered Dublin electro-fiends Le Galaxie, Co Waterford-based dance commanders King King Kong Company and English Folk-hop fusionists Coco and The Butterfields, plus loads more music from the likes of The Emerald Armada, Interskalactic, Trucker Diablo, Amanda St John, The Twisted Sisters, After The Ibis, The Bonny Men, Magwere, R51, Nanu Nanu, Donna Dunne, Fiction Peaks, Extended Play, Palm Tree Dynamite, Twitch Belfast, Vienna Ditto, Henry Cluney, The Sun Shadows, Vokxen, Susie-Blue, The Freedom 35's and Mosmo Strange.
These are just some of the 100-plus acts that will be performing across Sunflowerfest's six stage set-up, offering punters of all ages an eclectic mix of music, comedy, poetry, film, dance and family fun.
