BELFAST city centre legal firm MKB Law it to expand its Great Victoria Street practice by merging with debt recovery specialists McAlinden Solicitors, which has been operating from premise on the Falls Road for more than a decade.

The merge is part of MKB Law's ongoing expansion strategy which has already seen the appointment of noted commercial litigation lawyer Steven Keenan and internationally-experienced legal executive Phoungwattey Kemnay.

MKB Law says the announcement demonstrates an active and positive response to the ever-evolving demands of its clients, with the addition of a dedicated debt recovery team further enhancing the range of legal services offered by the firm.

McAlinden Solicitors, headed by David McAlinden, brings with it more than 20 years experience in the specialist areas of debt recovery, personal and corporate insolvency. He and his team have established close links with both the Association of Credit Professionals and the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.

Under the terms of the merger, David has joined MKB Law as a director, and will bring along with him his three-person legal support team.
