KERRY Foods has signed a new contract that will see its supply Asda stores in the north with new line Denny All-Natural Ingredients Freshpack ham.
The meat is packaged into three individual pockets containing two slices in each.
Kerry Foods said the designed helps to reduces food waste.
Its national account manager David Neill said: "With customer research revealing increasing concerns around food wastage, Denny All-Natural Ingredients Freshpack allows consumers to use only the ham they need.
"From busy Mums preparing the school packed lunches to those looking for a high-protein snack on-the-go, our product provides a simple solution at any time of the day.
"We are delighted that the product will be stocked in Asda stores across Northern Ireland, as it will not only secure jobs within the Kerry Group but also allows us to build upon our strong partnership with the retailer."
