THE Keystone Group in Cookstown is to set up an office in Germany as it seeks to increase its foothold in Europe.
The manufacturing firm has enjoyed stellar growth in recent years with annual turnover reaching £80 million while it has doubled its workforce since 2013.
The company was founded in 1989 and now has more than 1,000 employees working across facilities in Cookstown, south Derbyshire, Cwmbran and Poland.
Growth has been driven in particular by the launch of three new companies in the past three years.
They are IG Elements, Smartroof and IG Masonry Support.
But it is the firm's traditional offering of Keylite roof windows that could fuel major growth in Europe.
Company chief executive Eithne Kelly said: "We are the one of leading roof window firms in the UK and Ireland so that is where we see growth opportunities in Europe".
Keylite is the number two roof window brand in the UK and is the fastest growing roof windows manufacturer in Europe and distributes to 19 countries across the world.
Ms Kelly added: "We are now the number one supplier of steel lintels in the UK and Ireland, where we are also the only indigenous manufacturer of roof windows. We have plans to further expand our business network across Northern Ireland, The Irish Republic, GB and further afield.
"We are looking towards growing further exports, particularly into Germany and France.
"We currently are seeking opportunities to set up an office in Germany. That will give us a sales presence there and we can growth from there."
Keystone's new brands include IG Elements which specialises in producing a range of high quality fibreglass building components, including entrance canopies, dormers, chimney stacks, bay window canopies, and door surrounds.
Smartroof meanwhile is a pre-insulated roof panel system that creates the perfect room in a roof in just hours, from start to finish
The third new brand IG Masonry Support Systems produces prefabricated units manufactured off-site and delivered complete with bricks bonded to them.
The product has won wide acclaim including the aware for product design innovation at the recent British Construction Industry (BCI) Awards.
Meanwhile, Keystone was also recently included in this year's Parliamentary Review manufacturing edition.
