THE former director of a Tyrone bottled water company has been barred from boardrooms for five years.
Brian Quinn (62) of Limehill Road, Pomeroy had been director of Hillzone Products in the town.
The firm made and distributed bottled water and water coolers but went into liquidation in June 2014.
The company was unable to cover £496,782 owed to creditors.
The Department for the Economy said Mr Quinn was disqualified for a number of reasons.
It said he allowed the business to retain £358,573 due in various taxes between 2010 and 2015.
He had also failed to learn from a insolvency or repeated a similar pattern of unfit conduct, the department said.
Accounts for the year to September 2012 were not filed in time while annual returns for 2011 and 2013 were late and those for 2014 were not submitted at all.
