A COOKSTOWN manufacturing firm has secured a new multi-million pound contract with a leading English water company, which is set to create jobs both in Northern Ireland and Britain.
TES Group has been awarded a five-year contract, worth in excess of £5 million, with AnglianWater for the design, manufacture, installation, test and commission of low voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies.
Covering over 27,500 square kilometres the Anglian Water region has the largest geographic area of water and wastewater in England and Wales and includes water recycling centres, reservoirs and networks stretching from the Humber in the north to the Thames in the south, from Northampton in the west across to the east coast. In total the company supplies over six million UK customers.
TES has been named as one of three successful companies appointed to the new framework contract, which initially runs for five years, with an extension of a further five a realistic possibility.
The latest contract announcement comes as the Co Tyrone company continues to grow and establish itself as one of the market leaders in its industry, already recognised by London Stock Exchange Group and Investec Mid-Market 100 as one of the fastest growing companies in the UK.
TES chairman, Brian Taylor said he was pleased to secure the long-term contract with such an established company.
“We’re committed to bringing innovative solutions and proposals to our clients, while continuing to deliver excellent design, product and client services. TES have ambitious growth plans in place and this contract is a further step towards achieving our goals.”
Following the announcement of the new contract TES is now actively recruiting for a wide range of positions in both Northern Ireland the UK.
