A BELFAST printing firm has created 25 jobs and has plans for 10 more as part of an ongoing £1 million expansion strategy that will help it maintain its dominance within the printing industry in Northern Ireland.
Northside Graphics is well-established as the oldest and largest digital printing company in the north, having been in operation for 30 years and currently employing 43 members of staff.
The firm recently added to its growing list of industry accolades after being awarded SME of the Year at the PrintWeek Awards in London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
Managing director Gary White said: “This is the first time that a printing business in Northern Ireland has received such recognition from these prestigious awards.
“This is one of the highlights of our year, and is a significant achievement for us as we continue our ongoing growth and investment strategy.”
Northside attributes its major growth to its ongoing investment in the most up-to-date technology.
It recently became the first company in Ireland to operate four HP Indigo presses, which contributed to a 25 per cent increase in sales throughout 2017.
Mr White added: “Our focus on enhancing efficiency and customer experience has ensured that any increase in sales directly correlates to an increased profit margin.
“Our investment not only lies in technology but in ensuring we attract and retain the very best workforce.
“Looking ahead, it is imperative we continue to acquire and produce the same high standard of expertise firm-wide in order to sustain a great quality service in light of increasing demand for our services.”
