A LEADING Irish trampoline park operator is to open a new £750,000 Craigavon centre, creating 30 jobs.

Air-tastic, who already run facilities in Bangor and Cork has announced a new park to be housed within the former B&Q building at Marlborough Retail Park. The centre, which includes a 16,000 trampoline park, café and birthday party rooms is part of a planned Ireland-wide expansion of the brand.

Air-tastic area manager, Sharyn Ingrey said the new facility will be open in early October and caters for young and old.

“We are very excited to be bringing Air-tastic to Craigavon and we can’t wait to open. Our state of the art trampoline park is a destination for the entire family, whether you’re six months or 60 years of age there’s something for everyone. And it’s an ideal venue to host birthday parties and school or group outings.”

The trampoline park will feature numerous fun zones and activities including a large quantity of interconnected trampolines, slide tower, giant airbag, gladiator beams, foam pits, hang tough rings and ball zones for games of dodge ball, basketball and aeroball. As well as the main trampoline park for those aged five and over there is a special play zone for those aged three to four as well as a soft play area for babies and toddlers.

Air-tastic opened in Bangor in December 2016, before expanding into Cork in October. The brand currently employs 80 members of staff across the two parks and is owned by the same company that operates Funky Monkeys soft play centres.
