Entrepreneur Aly in ‘Small Biz 100’

BELFAST artist, educator and writer Aly Harte has has been named as the only Belfast business owner in the UK’s top ‘Small Biz 100’ by Small Business Saturday.

Aly (www.alyharte.com) has been selected as a trailblazer in the official countdown to Small Business Saturday on December 1.

Her achievements and contribution to the local community will be celebrated and spotlighted on ‘Aly Harte Day’ on Friday November 2, when the Small Business Saturday bus tour will be in Belfast as part of the campaign’s mission to celebrate small business success and encourage people to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses.

Aly said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be named among such wonderful small business champions celebrating the success of independently owned businesses throughout the UK.

"I’m committed to building my relationships with small business owners and believe that with collaboration we can certainly have a positive impact on the local economy. I’m really looking forward to waking up on ‘Aly Harte Day’ in November and providing special offers specifically suited to small business owners.”

The 2018 Small Biz 100 list is drawn from every corner of the UK and reflects the vibrancy of the UK’s 5.5 million small businesses, having featured an innovative range of unique independent businesses each year since the iconic campaign began in 2013.
