The firm - which is based on Springfield Road E3 campus - landed the contracts with clients in Switzerland, Germany and Austria after its attendance at Medica 2018 in Dusseldorf, the world’s leading trade fair for the medical industry.
TriMedika co-founders Julie Brien and Dr Roisin Molloy have been working with Invest NI to develop and establish the customer base for TriTemp, the firm's high-tech thermometer which can read temperatures without ever touching the body.
The product is designed to save hospitals money, optimise infection control and enable busy nurses to spend more time with patients.
Ms Brien said: “Medica was the optimum platform to continue spreading the word about how our new non-contact thermometer delivers on the ‘Triple Aim for Health’.
"As well as securing four new orders we gained additional contacts with distributors for over 35 countries including Europe and the Middle East which we intend to develop at Arab Health next month.
“Global presence and brand awareness is a strategic focus for TriMedika as we scale the business and build the team. The ongoing support and advice from Invest NI has been central in enabling us to penetrate hospital markets and secure sales.”

“The business has maintained an ongoing relationship with Invest NI to support its development activities and is driving forward progress with its growth strategy. The seven additional jobs being created at TriMedika are a welcome investment that will help further propel the business in its target markets.”
