A WELL-known south Belfast dental practice is under new ownership after being purchased by a local dentist in an acquisition supported by First Trust Bank.
Malone Dental on the Malone Road has been purchased by Dr Seamus Kennedy, with the business changing hands from long-standing owner, Dr Maria McElhom.
Dr Kennedy, 29, plans to expand the surgery’s offering by extending the existing range of dental services and introducing facial aesthetic treatments including; tooth alignment, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments.
The ten-strong team service around 4000 patients across the greater Belfast area and wider afield.
Dr Kennedy said he is excited to begin the new chapter for Malone Dental.
“I have always aspired to own my own practice and was delighted when the opportunity presented itself to purchase such a well-respected business locally."
"We will remain a family orientated practice, providing high quality dental care for NHS and private patients. We also have plans to expand our services by offering non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments, meeting a growing demand for these procedures," he said.
