A CO Derry tech firm with ambitions to become one of the world's best, has opened a new Belfast office as part of a £1 million expansion programme.
Portstewart-headquartered Zymplify has launched three new advisory hubs at River House in Belfast, Manchester and Boston thanks to a cash injection from experienced US investor, John Martinson.
Mr Martinson from Philadelphia-based venture capital firm, Martinson Ventures, has more than 40 years’ experience in the software technology sector and has been involved in over 135 investments in the past 30 years.
The company has also received investment from Co-Fund NI ,which is managed on behalf of Invest NI by Clarendon Fund Managers.
Zymplify has developed its own marketing automation platform that enables clients to plan, measure and assess return on investment from their digital marketing activities within a single dashboard and has grown by two to 22 staff in the past three years.
Company founder and CEO, Michael Carlin said the new offices will allow staff to be closer to the client base and is part of an overall vision to become a leading international light in its field.
“Our goal is to become one of the world’s top five digital marketing platform providers and thought leaders by 2022," he said.
"In the short term we’re seeking to double our client numbers from 100 to 200. This round of investment will enable us to deliver on our corporate goals more quickly that would otherwise have been the case."
Looking ahead the ambitious tech firm has further plans for new international offices in the near future.
“The next phase of our corporate strategy is to roll out a further number of advisory hubs throughout English speaking countries that will be supported by our best in class team in Portstewart," Mr Carlin added.
