FINALISTS have been revealed in the biennial Greater Newry Area Business Awards, which will be handed out at a gala dinner in the Canal Court Hotel on Thursday June 27.
The winners of the Best Businesswoman, Best Businessman and Outstanding Contribution to the Greater Newry Area will be announced on the night of the awards.
All finalists will find out which category/categories they have been short-listed for on Monday June 17.
Independent judging panels had the task of assessing more than 250 applications and agreeing on the short list, and they took the opportunity to commend each person, business and organisation who took the time to apply.
The awards programme is designed to recognise and reward the very best the region's business community has to offer.
"This year the quality of entries has been truly outstanding, which in itself is a real indicator of the vibrancy and the strength of our local economy," a spokesman for organisers Newry Chamber of Commerce said.
"Good luck to all the short listed finalists as the big night approaches at the end of the month.
"This is always a sold-out event, so we would encourage you to get your tickets booked as early as possible."
