INDEPENDENT fashion retailer SD Kells is among six businesses to open new units in Belfast’s Castlecourt shopping centre ahead of Christmas.
It marks store number 11 for the family-owned Co Fermanagh firm, which already operates a flagship premises on Bedford Street in the city.
Clothing chain Blue Inc, which collapsed into administration last year, has also reopened in the city centre shopping centre under new ownership, as has childrenswear retailer Peak-A-Bleu.
Meanwhile sustainable fashion and accessories store, 4Good, will help Oxfam raise vital funds for people in crisis.
The retail centre’s food court has also announced the addition of Japanese food specialist Mitsuru and fast-growing milkshake, smoothie and frozen yogurt chain Shakeaway.
The six new stores coincide with the appointment of Leona Barr as new centre manager of Castlecourt. Ms Barr’s 20 year career in the industry has included running The Junction retail park in Antrim.
