PWC’s Belfast-based Operate division has announced a collaboration with Dublin's Fenergo in a move that the financial services group said marks a significant expansion of its financial crime capability.

Fenergo provides digital client lifecycle management (CLM) software solutions for banks major finance organisations.

PwC said its Belfast team now be capable of offering support and services to banks around the world as they adapt to changing regulations.

The alliance follows PwC’s announcement last week of its plans to create 600 more jobs in Belfast over the coming five years.

PwC partner said the move represents a further vote of confidence in Belfast, which is now home to the group’s largest UK office outside London.
