THE north’s largest Starbucks drive-thru has opened at the Junction in Antrim, creating 25 jobs.
The newly-built 110-seater unit is the global coffee chain’s third drive-thru in Northern Ireland, bringing its total number of outlets on the island of Ireland to 103.
Its opening is part of an ongoing £30 million redevelopment plan at the popular Antrim retail and leisure destination.
Earlier this month it was revealed that the project is on target for completion in 2021, after reaching its second major milestone with the unveiling of a new public square and road infrastructure.
Centre director Chris Flynn said: “This opening further complements the existing food and beverage offering at the Junction and it’s great to see it arrive in time for Christmas.”
