TITANIC Belfast has said it will need 80 temporary staff as part of its annual recruitment drive for the upcoming spring-summer season.

The new workers will be offered fixed-term contracts to work at the major tourist attraction and SS Nomadic between March and September.

The latest intake is around half the 150 temporary staff recruited by Titanic Belfast last year. The 2019 season included staff for the Game of Thrones tour at the Titanic Exhibtion Centre (TEC).

The 2020 recruitment drive does however represent an increase on 2017 and 2018, when 60 and 70 temporary staff were taken on respectively.

Titanic Belfast, which employs around 300 people, said it needs ‘front line’ staff to cover visitor experience, ticketing, hospitality outlets and retail.

Chief executive Judith Owens, “From the very beginning in 2012, we have valued our staff as one of our key assets and reasons for success.

“This year, we are recruiting for 80 roles and we want staff who are truly passionate about communicating Titanic’s story and showcasing the best of Belfast and Northern Ireland to local, national and international tourists – if this is you, you could be part of our award-winning crew.”
