FOUNDED in 2001, family-owned Irish firm Glandore has a passion for creating the right working environment for every business, from the flexible start-up to the established success story.

It does this through its portfolio of design-led serviced offices that can offer the ideal backdrop in which any business and its people can thrive.

Run by Michael Kelly and his daughters Fiona, Clare and Rebecca, Glandore’s family spirit runs deep.

It’s fitting that the firm has partnered with the Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards because Glandore’s expansion is set to play a vital role in many more employment settings as it continues to grow and expand.

Since 2001, the Kelly family has seen the operation grow from one employee to nearly 80 employees, and from offering 75 desks to now offering over 3,500 desks in nine buildings across Dublin, Belfast and Cork.

Glandore has also built a fantastic team of industry experts renowned for their professionalism, service and flexible can-do attitude.

“As a family business Glandore cares deeply about building long term connections and relationships with our staff, members and partners,” adds Michael.

“The long term focus is to continue to deliver on that service promise and that is dependent on the high performing staff, so it is hugely important to Glandore as a company that we offer the platform to grow along with the members.”

Beyond the bricks and mortar offering and that personal touch Glandore also encourages and facilitates connections and networking opportunities between its members.

These can range from educational seminars and workshops to social gatherings, business briefings, networking events, seasonal events and a complimentary wellness programme.

As well as having a positive impact on workplaces, the company is also an advocate of positive environmental practices.

As part of its green initiative, Glandore is using 100 per cent renewable energy across all of its locations in Ireland and has also expanded its recycling and composting facilities across its nine locations, with the aim of reducing the contamination of recyclables and waste overall.

The company has also begun installing electric car charging ports at some of its sites and will be holding a number of green-focused talks with industry experts for its members and the general public throughout 2020.

In Belfast, members can avail of its reusable amenities, plastic-free or reduced packaging and rest assured that Glandore’s future environmental drive will be committed to seeking a positive change in the community and the workplace of its members.
