HOMEGROWN beauty brand BPerfect Cosmetics has announced a new flagship store in Belfast’s CastleCourt Shopping Centre.

The £250,000 investment is set to create ten new jobs when the 2,500 sq ft store opens on October 1.

The company was founded in 2012 by Brendan McDowell. Over the past eight years, BPerfect has grown in status, with 2,000 retailers worldwide now stocking its make-up products.

“I am so proud and excited to be in the final stages of opening the store in my home city and want to thank our amazing team and loyal customers for helping us get to this point,” said Mr McDowell.

“The store has been a vision of mine for many years and to see it come to fruition is quite simply a dream come true.”

The company chief executive said he wants his customers to have a very special experiential retail experience.

“It will be very different from any other make-up retailer anywhere in the world. It will feature top Instagram brands like our own and others such as Lunar Beauty from Manny MUA, and Doll Beauty to Voduz and Mrs Glam – it is solely aimed for people who love to have the latest ‘must have’ beauty product.

“The store will be inclusive, welcoming for all age-groups, genders and somewhere where shoppers can view and try the hottest products on the globe from a range of over ten brands.”

Leona Barr, centre manager at CastleCourt said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome the amazing BPerfect brand to CastleCourt in our 30th year.

“The brand is such an aspirational leader in the cosmetics sector and a huge growth area for us as a retail shopping destination.

“Their offering perfectly compliments our already strong beauty and make-up offering and we look forward to welcoming the next generation of shopper to our Centre.”
