DIGITAL and brand agency Mammoth has announced plans to create 20 jobs over the next 18 months after securing £9.6 million in new contracts.

The company employs 50 people across offices in Belfast, London and Dublin and lists Ed Sheeran, Rory McIlroy and Bank of Ireland among its clients.

Mammoth moved to a new flagship 20,000 sq ft Belfast office in Sinclair House on Royal Avenue in March 2020.

It recently scored new contracts with Tourism NI, University of Exeter, National University of Ireland Galway, and new Irish energy company, Bright.

The agency has now launched a new recruitment drive.

Agency co-founder, Jeremy Poots said: “We are delighted to win such sizeable contracts, especially with the backdrop of Covid – which made these contract wins even more important - and now we have an immediate need to add a wide range of new positions for designers, developers, data analysts, film producers, animators and client services.”

Co-founder Paul Martin said Covid-19 has forced clients to dramatically and rapidly re-invent and reposition their business offering

“Our large team is uniquely placed to take these campaigns to market through social media and advertising campaigns – helped by a recent investment in a new purpose built video and content studio, with an ‘infinity curve’ wall and portable kitchen for food shoots at our new flagship HQ in Royal Avenue.

The Mammoth co-founders are anticipating continued growth, despite the economic turbulence continuing into 2021.

“We believe there will be a resurgence of pent up demand and increased acceleration in adapting to the new digital world in the second half of next year if Covid is brought under control and we expect to win additional clients in Ireland, Britain and Europe in 2021,” added Mr Martin.
