SPECIALIST glazing company Topglass in Toomebridge, which has already grown its workforce by nearly a third since its acquisition by the McConville family in 2018, plans to add another six staff, with the potential of further growth to follow.
It is recruiting for roles in its contracts, supply chain, design and estimating departments.
A sister company of MJM Marine in Newry and Mivan in Antrim, Topglass has seen significant growth and demand for quality glazing solutions during the pandemic and has a strong pipeline of secured contracts with some high-profile projects in UK and Ireland.
Best known for its specialist glass capabilities, the company has been working on driving growth in its other disciplines including multi-storey structural glass facades.
It is continuing to drive key products such as Pilkington Profilit, of which Topglass is the agent in UK and Ireland and specialist projects offering an end to end glazing solution.
General manager Gary Lennon said: “We're seeing a real push towards high quality glass facades and finishings across the commercial, healthcare, education and high end residential sector.
“We're delighted to be experiencing continued growth, which is enabling us to take on more people.
“Our existing team is highly experienced at delivering major glazing packages and we are looking forward to be recruiting additional talent to join us on our growth journey.”
