Apprenticeship programme open for applications at Sandvik

SCREENING and crushing company Sandvik has launched a new apprenticeship programme offering people the chance to explore a diverse and innovative career at its state-of-the-art Ballygawley production facility.

The company, part of the Swedish-owned Sandvik Group which has 37,000 employees worldwide, aims to recruit six manufacturing apprentices and one business support apprentice, and is hosting a special recruitment evening on Tuesday June 15 from 5-7pm.

Other career opportunities currently available within Sandvik mobile crushing and screening include assembly fitters, stores operatives, paint operatives and procurement specialists.

The new apprentices will get hands-on training and also the chance to put your skills into practice. Attending classes at the South West College, they will be required to successfully complete the college course, while training at the production facility in Ballygawley.
