HOMECARE provider Connected Health has announced the acquisition of its outsourced recruitment partner Connected Talent in an undisclosed six-figure deal.
The domiciliary care firm has grown from a staff of 47 to a group employing 1,100 across the island of Ireland and Britain in just six years.
Chief executive Douglas Adams said the acquisition was the beginning of the next stage of the company’s growth strategy.
“Our move towards a totally digital recruitment process underpinned by a dedicated, experienced and brilliant recruitment team, has been a key differential across our previous growth phases with a current capacity for more than 1,200 new hires per year,” he said.
“We expect this number to significantly increase as we expand organically into new geographies and higher value services within the broader health and social care sector.”
Connected Talent’s chief executive and majority shareholder Ryan Williams will remain on as a shareholder and director in Connected Health.
He said: “The move will harness the wider experience of Connected Talent in both executive search and agency delivery to provide a further revenue stream for Connected Health, as we move forward.”
