Ellvena Graham named as new chair of Tourism NI

THE former head of Ulster Bank in the north has been named as the new chair of Tourism NI.

Ellvena Graham will hold the position for the next three years.

One of the most experienced female business figures in Northern Ireland, Ms Graham currently sits on the chair of Catalyst Inc and serves as a non-executive director in Dale Farm. She is also the senior independent governor of Queen’s

University Belfast and has served as chair of Belfast Waterfront and Ulster Hall since 2016.

A former President of NI Chamber, the ex-banking chief has also previously served as chair of ESB.

Announcing the appointment, Economy Minister Gordon Lyons said: “I am delighted that Ms Graham has accepted the role as chair of Tourism NI.

“I am confident that she will bring significant experience to the role and play a key part in ensuring that this important sector goes from strength to strength in what promises to be an exciting time for tourism in Northern Ireland.”
