ANTRIM-based Decision Time has secured its 50th state agency customer in the Republic with a series of new business wins.

Educational Research Centre (ERC) and Sport Ireland have just procured its products to help improve governance, and Decision Time has also added the governmental Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD) as a new customer.

Dublin-based ERC is an internationally recognised centre of excellence in research, assessment and evaluation in education. Sport Ireland is the authority tasked with the development of sport in Ireland, including high performance sport, anti-doping, coaching and the development of the Sport Ireland Campus.

DRCD is a department of the government of Ireland and works to promote rural and community development and to support vibrant, inclusive and sustainable communities.

Decision Time (https://www.decisiontime.co.uk/) makes it easier for organisations such as state agencies to practice good governance by running effective meetings, managing risk and monitoring their strategic performance. It enables CEOs, directors and leaders across any organisation to manage all of these essential requirements in one place.

In addition to 50 state agency customers in the Republic, Decision Time now also has around 25 non-departmental public body customers in the UK including Tourism NI, the Scottish Children's Reporter Administration, HM Land Registry, and the Disclosure and Barring Service (an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the Home Office).

Geoff Higgins, managing director at Decision Time, said: "In recent years, leaders in the public sector have faced significant changes to how they must govern and run their organisations. Pressure is increasing to be more accountable, deliver on performance targets, and widen governance scope to include environmental and social impacts.

"At the same time, significant external risks such as cyber-crime and shifting macro-economic and political forces all need to be identified, controlled, and managed. All of this means increased demand for our software.

"By implementing modern risk management, decision-making, and performance frameworks, organisations are remodeling how they operate, becoming more flexible, more resilient, and improving their performance. They are also finding new ways to demonstrate compliance and their level of control to stakeholders and regulators." he adds.

Founded and run by entrepreneurs Geoff and Sinead Higgins, Decision Time recently became part of Advanced, one of the UK's largest providers of business software and services with a £330m turnover, 25,000 customers and over 2,700 employees.
