THERE are just 11 days left to submit entries for the Greater Newry Business Awards, run by Newry Chamber of Commerce and principally sponsored by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, along with support sponsor nijobfinder.
There are 25 award categories to choose from, they are free to enter before the deadline of Friday May 5. Every business located within the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council area can enter up to four categories.
Those making the short list will be announced on Thursday May 18, and the gala awards night takes place in the Canal Court Hotel & Spa on Thursday June 15.
The biennial awards have become the district’s premier celebration of business excellence since their inception in 2004, recognising, celebrating and rewarding the success of businesses and individuals at the top of their game.
Newry Chamber is encouraging businesses and organisations of all sizes from across all sectors to embrace this opportunity to be recognised, celebrated and rewarded by entering the awards.
Winning one of these highly coveted awards is only part of the process. The awards provide local businesses with a benchmark of quality, providing an opportunity to examine how customers view them and how they measure up against their competitors.
