A LONG-established Belfast software company which helps not-for-profits, charities and the public sector to change peoples’ lives has been bought for an undisclosed sum.

ICONI Software, a leader in programme delivery software, has come under the umbrella of Banyan Software, a leading acquirer and permanent home for growing software businesses.

Based in Belfast and founded in 2000 by Liam Jordan, ICONI focuses on delivering government-funded support programmes.

Under ICONI’s guidance, these national support programmes facilitate the empowerment of UK citizens in their pursuit of employment, skills, well-being and ongoing personal development.

ICONI’s subscription-based solution enables customers to manage their supply chain partners, oversee key performance metrics, ensure compliance, and report on key outcomes of these national contracts.

“We are excited to welcome ICONI into the Banyan family. Its commitment to serving the public sector and its highly configurable software solution stand out notably in the market,” said Banyan Software operating partner Keith Bird.

ICONI founder Liam Jordan added: “Joining Banyan represents a significant step forward for our company and our dedicated team.

“Banyan’s vision and expertise in the long-term growth of B2B software businesses make it the ideal home for our company. We are grateful for the transparent and efficient process that brought us together and I’m looking forward to working alongside the Banyan team to ensure ICONI’s continued success.”

ICONI Software (www.iconi.co.uk) started life in 2000 as Internet Concepts (Ireland) Ltd, or iConcepts, and three years later came under the full ownership of Liam Jordan, bringing a change of direction from internet consultancy to developing software solutions.
