There's no need to let boredom creep in now that you're staying at home and keeping youself and others safe from coronavirus because a Co Down man is running an online pub quiz.
Mark Hughes hosted the first Big Nerd Pub Quiz from his parent's home in Rostrevor last weekend and will do the same at 8pm on Wednesday March 25.
More than 800 people took part in the online quiz via YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and Mark said it had "really lifted the spirits of people in these uncertain times".
Mark moved back to Rostrevor from London due to the effects of the global pandemic.
“I came home to spend time with my family during this crisis and I figured this would be the best way to keep busy. I couldn’t believe the response. It's the first time I've ever done anything like this; I was just learning on the hoof,” he explained.
"I want people to feel like they’re doing something to take their minds of the self isolation and social distancing that’s going on. I’ve decided to do them every few days now; the next one's going to be this Wednesday. It’s free to join and I hope everyone has fun. I really want this to become a part of people's routines; a welcome break from the gloomy news and the old Netflix boxsets."
